Requirements for pet health certificates can vary significantly between states, countries, and airlines, so it’s essential to research the requirements of your destination and airline well in advance of your travel date.
International travel requires international pet health certificates—and some countries require proof of additional vaccinations and specific testing. You will find the certificate and other information about what’s required for your pet to travel at the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) page from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
